Working with wood for more than 30 years. Starting at school and in her parents garage as a teenager.

Anna is offering one to one wood turning taster sessions, woodwork courses and furniture making courses.

Allowing the new maker, the opportunity to get maximum amount of time on the lathe or at the bench.

Health & Safety in the workshop

Workshop PPE including visor's, dust masks and goggles provided. Long hair must be tied back.

Our workshop in winter can be cold, so suggest wearing a jumper or similar with non-baggy sleeves.  Any jewellery or watches to be removed before starting wood turning and wood working. Remember your glasses if you require them to see up close.

You must be + 18 years of age to book a place on a wood turning or woodwork course.

A lunch break will be taken for an hour on day classes. Bring your own lunch and coffee/tea will be provided. There is a kitchen in the workshop and local amenities nearby at Gyle shopping centre.

The beginner wood turner or woodworker has to follow Anna's instructions whilst they are on the lathe or working with tools to keep them safe from any harm.

We can rebook your course for another date if you have an urgent reason to delay

A reason for delay is a medical or family emergency.
